Hello ZimmComm Fans:
Happy Friday.
The ZimmComm Team has been cranking out content this week from multiple locations. We hope you’re enjoying what you can read, listen to or watch. The team is still posting stories from the Ag Media Summit, New Holland Media Days, InfoAg Conference and Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Speaking of Sturgis. We have been assisting the Renewable Fuels Association with their promotion and sponsorship of the Rally as well as the Buffalo Chip Campground for four years now. This year was Cindy’s first experience. If you see her, ask her to describe it. We all had fun promoting Free Fuel Happy Hours and enjoying some great music.
Our latest ZimmPoll asked, “How are you connecting your precision equipment and data?” Judging from the results there is a lot of room for growth using the cloud. Two thirds of our responses say they are using memory cards and USB sticks. Interesting.
Here’s some audio from this week you might have missed:
Matt Hancock, FMC, on Anthem Maxx
Incoming and outgoing AAEA Presidents
Rod “Woody” Woodruff, Buffalo Chip Campground, on putting E10 in his motorcycle
Aaron Hutchinson, iCropTrak, talks mobile farm management
Ted Macy, MapShots, talks about precision history and new technology
Bob Dinneen, RFA, on a decade of success with the RFS
