ZimmNews – November 14, 2014

Hello ZimmComm Fans:
The ZimmComm Team was in action at the National Association of Farm Broadcasting convention and Livestock Publications Council Vision event this week in KC, MO. Working along side the agriblogging pros was our fall intern Taylor Truckey.
The annual Trade Talk session was bigger than ever and a real madhouse of broadcasters conducting interviews and trying to beat the closing deadline to get them all in. That’s not an easy task for anyone! We’ll be featuring those stories on AgWired websites over the next week.
The majority of our latest ZimmPoll participants said they’re happy or at least cautiously optimistic about the recent elections. Our new ZimmPoll asks, “Do you think the new coalition agreement addresses ag data privacy concerns? This is in reference to the coalition of farm organizations and ag technology providers announcement of an agreement on data privacy and security. Let us know what you think.
Here are some interviews/audio from this week you might have missed:
Margaret Fogarty, Farm Credit, on social media corps covering NAFB convention
Ryan Molitor, Raven, on new coalition agreement on data
Bob Stallman, AFBF, on data agreement
Ron LeMay, FarmLink, on integrating tech with ag
