ZimmNews – October 31, 2014

Hello ZimmComm Fans:
Chuck says that Julie Borlaug brought candy corn to her presentation at the Bayer CropScience 2014 Corn and Soybean Forum and joked that it was GMO free. LOL. But it was her way to bring the holiday to Germany. So you can find a lot of information from that conference on AgNewsWire.com with more to come.
Cindy went to Miami this week for the World LP Gas Forum courtesy of the Propane Research and Education Council. There are a number of ways that PERC highlighted how propane is being used in the ag industry now.
Jamie Johansen and AgWired intern Taylor Truckey have been covering this week’s National FFA Convention courtesy of FMC. They have lots of photos online already and many stories being posted to AgWired.
Yep, it has been a busy week for the team!
Our latest ZimmPoll asked the question, “What should the U.S. do about the WTO COOL ruling?” The majority answered, Appeal and do nothing. Interesting, since most of those responses came in almost overnight.
Here are some interviews and audio from this week you might have missed:
Liam Condon, CEO, Germany, Bayer CropScience
Matt Thompson, FMC, on investment in FFA
Dr. Lowell Catlett, on best time ever in ag
Jason Wetzler, FFA Western Region Vice President
PERC people on propane powered engines for ag
