ZimmComm is owned by Chuck and Cindy Zimmerman.  The company is located in Holts Summit, MO, right across the river from Jefferson City.  They've been agricultural communicators since graduating from the University of Florida in 1980. 

ZimmComm is a marketing and communications company that specializes in public relations work, especially targeting broadcast radio reporters with a unique service called "Talking News Releases."  Additionally, ZimmComm is the first agrimarketing firm to offer blogging, podcasting and RSS services.

Besides public relations services, ZimmComm publishes a weblog titled "AgWired," which which focuses on what's new in the world of agribusiness.

"Talking News Releases" (TNR's)is a specialized service offered by ZimmComm, utilizing the company's nationwide database of radio reporters.  TNR's are news releases that contain hyperlinks to audio and images that the reporters can download immediately to use on-air.  ZimmComm normally takes a client's standard news releases, produces the audio files, inserts the hyperlinks and edits for broadcast style, then emails the TNR to reporters in the area the client desires.

Chuck and Cindy are members of the National Agri-Marketing Association, National Association of Farm Broadcasters, American Agricultural Editors Association, Livestock Publications Council and Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce.
