ZimmNews – January 9, 2015

Hello ZimmComm Fans:
Back to work? We hope you love cold because it even got cold at ZimmComm World Headquarters this week with 9 degree wind chills. But hey, it’s winter.
Chuck got things kicked off this week with a visit to the Beltwide Cotton Conferences courtesy of Nufarm You can find his stories on AgWired. Cindy is packing right now for the annual American Farm Bureau Federation convention in San Diego. So, the team is back in action and there is so much more to come.
When it came to what you thought were the top stories in ag in 2014 our ZimmPoll showed the California drought and no RFS numbers from the EPA at the top followed by the new Farm Bill, Transportation issues, PED virus in swine and then others. Now with the big Cuba trade deal we’re asking, “What do you think about the US Ag Coalition for Cuba?”
Here are some interviews/audio from this week you might have missed:
Ag organizations speaking at US Ag Coalition for Cuba kickoff
Dan Durheim, AFBF, convention preview
Jon Doggett, NCGA, on new Congress
Jerome Kovar, Nufarm, on new cotton products
