ZimmNews – May 16, 2014

Hello ZimmComm Fans:
The ZimmComm team has been working on registrations and reservations for summer meetings on the agriblogging highway. We’ve got days available though. So if you’ve got a field day or some special event taking place you’d like us to cover just let us know.
It seems pretty clear from our last ZimmPoll that most people think climate change is impacting agriculture. But there is some skepticism on if that’s man made climate change. To read more about the climate change assessment released by the White House last week, check out this recent AgWired post, EPA Chief Discusses Climate Change Report.
After Chuck attended the Animal Agriculture Alliance Stakeholders Summit which focused on millennials we thought our new ZimmPoll question should be, “What is the best way to market to millennials?” Thanks to Elanco for sponsoring his coverage.
Don’t forget to give us some feedback on the new MyNewHolland.com. Interested to know what you think.
Here are some interviews from this week you might have missed:
Lance Rupert, GROWMARK Agronomy Marketing Manager, on FS Sales Lens
Rep. Rodney Davis, (R-IL), on WRRDA
Senators voicing biodiesel concerns
Kim Waalderbos on Canadian Farm Writers’ Federation 2014 convention
Missouri Senator Roy Blunt on ag issues
AAA College Aggie Scholarship Winners
Farmland Movie Student Perspective with Brady Zuck
