ZimmNews – May 9, 2014

Hello ZimmComm Fans:
As the spring semester winds down on college campuses it’s time for students to plan for the summer. We’re looking for a summer intern. If you know a student who might be interested then pass them this link to where they can apply.
This week Chuck got on the agriblogging highway to Arlington and the Animal Agriculture Alliance Stakeholders Summit courtesy of Elanco. Elanco wants you to join their Sensible Table initiative and say Enough when it comes to food and food security as we gear up to grow enough food to feed nine billion by 2050. Tweet about it with the hashtag #Feedthe9.
Last week’s ZimmPoll said that Environmental and Economic were the most important part of sustainability. There’s a word with many, many meanings! Our new ZimmPoll asks, “Is Climate Change impacting agriculture?” Thanks go out to New Holland for sponsoring our weekly poll.
Here are some interviews from this week you might have missed:
Chef Dave Creamer, Renaissance Hotel, Arlington, VA
Andy Vance, Feedstuffs, moderator of AAA Stakeholders Summit
USDA conference call on Immigration Reform
