ZimmNews – Feb 14, 2014

Hello ZimmComm Fans:
Winter ain’t over! Chuck and Cindy made it through Atlanta on Tuesday just in time as flights were being canceled right and left. They are finishing up at the 2014 National Farm Machinery in Louisville, KY. You can find a growing number of stories and photos on AgWired and Precision Pays. Working along side the team on Friday is Anna Leigh Peek, Auburn student just about to graduate. We have met Anna at a couple of events and she wanted the opportunity to get some real world experience. We appreciate her help and are impressed with her ambition!
Our latest ZimmPoll question was “What’s best in the new farm bill?” Over a third of our respondents said Crop Insurance. The same percentage said Nothing. Hmmm.
So our new ZimmPoll moves on to the farm economy and asks the question, “How does farm economy compare to general U.S.?” Let us know what you think since USDA is predicting lower net farm income this year after big gains in 2013.
Here are some interviews from this week you might have missed:
Cole Sanford, New Holland, talks about their CR8090 Combine
NFMS Show Mgr. Corrine Fetter talks about this year’s show
